The Château Brane-Cantenac vineyard stretches across gravelly slopes, typical of the Margaux appellation, offering optimal drainage and ideal sun exposure. The vines' roots delve deep into the rich soil, which promotes the concentration of aromas and the complexity of the wines. The oceanic climate, with its Atlantic influences, allows for a slow and even ripening of the grapes, thus guaranteeing beautiful acidity and aromatic richness.

    Owner and history

Today, Château Brane-Cantenac is managed by the Lurton family, who have preserved the estate's heritage while bringing a modern vision. Their commitment to quality and respect for the environment is reflected in their sustainable viticultural practices. The owners' passion and dedication are evident in every bottle, where history and terroir converge to create exceptional, elegant, and refined wines.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Brane-Cantenac is carried out with the utmost care, combining modern techniques with traditional methods. The grapes are harvested by hand to guarantee their quality. After rigorous sorting, the berries are vinified in temperature-controlled vats, allowing for gentle tannin extraction. Aging, primarily in oak barrels, lasts approximately 12 to 18 months, giving the wine its structure and complexity. This meticulous process ensures harmony and balance of aromas, revealing the full typicity of the Margaux terroir.
