    Owner and history

Located in the Saint-Émilion appellation, Château de Pressac overlooks the Dordogne River valley from a 41-hectare limestone plateau. The estate is the only Grand Cru Classé in the appellation to cultivate six grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, and Malbec (Noir de Pressac). The steep slopes have been terraced to facilitate vineyard work.

    Vinification and aging

    - Manual harvesting and sorting of grapes on a table,
    - Gravity-fed vatting,
    - Vinification followed by maceration for approximately 18 to 24 days
    - Malolactic fermentation in barrels
