    Vinification and aging

    Winemaking at Château Lafite Rothschild It is a meticulous process. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted to guarantee optimal quality. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature control. Aging occurs in oak barrels, some of which are new, for approximately 18 months.
