    Owner and history

    Clos Puy Arnaud comprises 13 hectares of vines. They grow in soil composed of limestone with asteria fossils on the upper slopes and Castillon limestone on the lower slopes. The Merlot (70%), Cabernet Franc (25%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) are carefully tended by their winemaker. Certified biodynamic by Biodyvin, Thierry Valette is committed to developing a genuine production philosophy. His wines thus evoke the vintages of the 1980s, with their freshness and elegance.

    Vinification and aging

    Hand-harvested grapes, fermented with indigenous yeasts. Aged with 15% new oak and using Tuscan amphorae.
