Owner and history

Marco Pallanti's family has been at the helm of Castello di Ama since the 1980s. Their passion for wine and their commitment to the Tuscan terroir have allowed the domaine to rise among the greatest names of Chianti Classico. Driven by a long-term vision, they continue to invest in the quality of the wines and in the sustainable development of the domaine.

Vinification and aging

The winemaking process for L'Apparita is carried out with the utmost care, aiming to preserve the integrity of the fruit and to best express the terroir's potential. The grapes are harvested by hand and meticulously sorted. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by extended maceration to extract aromas and tannins. Aging occurs in French oak barrels for an extended period, refining the wine and imparting complexity and elegance.
