    Owner and history

Château Berliquet is a gem in the heart of Saint-Émilion. This 10-hectare vineyard is now owned by the Wertheimer family, who also own its neighbor Château Canon and Château Rauzan Ségla in Saint-Émilion. Viticulture is overseen by Nicolas Thienpont and Stéphane Derenoncourt. The Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines are cultivated sustainably and harvested by hand. Vinification, which lasts between 20 and 30 days, is followed by malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. Aging takes place in oak barrels, 90% of which are new, sourced from the estate's monolithic quarries. This Grand Cru enjoys a fine reputation among discerning wine lovers.
