Owner and history

The Château d'Armailhac vineyard, spanning 70 hectares, is divided into three distinct groups of plots: Les Carruades de Mouton, the Plateau des Levantines with the Obelisk, the Plateau de Pibran, and finally the Croupe de Béhéré. The average age of the vines is 46 years, with some vines over a century old, contributing remarkable richness and depth to the wines produced.

Vinification and aging

The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand. The wine is aged in barrels, divided into three equal parts: one third in new barrels, one third in one-year-old barrels and one third in two-year-old barrels, for a period of 15 to 18 months.
