Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Pontet-Canet The winemaking process is carried out with great care. The harvest is done by hand, allowing for rigorous grape selection. After careful destemming, the berries are fermented in temperature-controlled tanks, promoting the extraction of aromas and tannins. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, for approximately 16 months.
