Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Pontet-Canet The winemaking process is carried out with great care. The harvest is done by hand, allowing for rigorous grape selection. After careful destemming, the berries are fermented in temperature-controlled tanks, promoting the extraction of aromas and tannins. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, for approximately 16 months. This aging method refines the wine's structure while preserving its fruity expression and freshness, thus offering a perfect balance between power and elegance.
