Vinification and aging

The winemaking of Pommard 1er Cru The 2019 Les Charmots is crafted with meticulous care, respecting Burgundian traditions. The grapes are carefully destemmed and sorted before being placed in vats for fermentation. Maceration lasts several days to extract the aromas and tannins from the grapes. Aging takes place in French oak barrels for an extended period, allowing the wine to refine and develop its complexity. Domaine Parent uses a proportion of new barrels adapted to each vintage, in order to preserve the unique character of its terroir.
