This 2020 Côte de Brouilly displays a brilliant ruby color. On the nose, it exudes aromas of fresh red fruits (cherry, raspberry) with floral notes and a subtle mineral touch. Its work is guided by the desire to reveal the potential of Gamay and to enhance the terroir of the Côte de Brouilly.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Domaine Pierre Cotton This wine is made using a minimalist approach, prioritizing the natural expression of the grapes and the terroir. The grapes are harvested by hand to select only the best bunches. Carbonic maceration is carried out in concrete vats, allowing for the extraction of the fruity aromas and color of the Gamay. Aging takes place in concrete vats and old oak barrels to preserve the wine's freshness and fruitiness. Bottling is done without filtration or fining to maintain the wine's integrity.
