The vineyard of Domaine William Fèvre It is situated on south-facing slopes, benefiting from optimal sunshine. The soils, composed mainly of Kimmeridgian limestone, are rich in marine fossils, which gives the wines a unique minerality. The vines, several decades old, are cultivated with care, yielding grapes of exceptional quality, essential for the creation of this Chablis. 1er Cru Montmains.

2024 is a pivotal year for the Domaine William Fèvre, which has now come under the wing of Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), while retaining the technical direction of Didier Séguier, the guarantor of the house's refined and pure style. The current owners share a common passion for the terroir and quality, committed to producing wines that reflect the authenticity of Chablis. Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Domaine William Fèvre It is a delicate process, where each step is carefully considered to preserve the integrity of the grapes. After hand-harvesting, the bunches are gently pressed to extract the juice. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging on fine lees for several months. This technical approach allows for the development of aromatic complexity while maintaining the freshness and vibrancy characteristic of Chablis.
