    Vinification and aging

    Located in the heart of the famous red soils of AVA Oakville, in the Napa Valley, THE domaine “Au Paradis” (In Paradise) lives up to its name. Planted on the foothills of the valley’s eastern slope, on a gently sloping plateau, the Bordeaux grape varieties develop a classic style, characterized by silky tannins and deep aromas of red fruit. Spanning between 150 and 180 meters above sea level, the 26 acres (approximately 10 hectares) of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot overlook the valley and offer breathtaking views of the Mayacamas Mountains. The slope of the land and its hillside location ensure ideal sun exposure throughout the day, fostering the development of the rich and intense fruit one would expect from such a magnificent estate.
