    Owner and history

The Château Quintus vineyard covers 28 hectares in the heart of the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation and comprises a mosaic of terroirs. The vines are on average 30 years old and grow on the Saint-Émilion plateau, with a grape variety composition of 72% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard sits atop a limestone promontory 62 meters above sea level, at the southwestern edge of the Saint-Émilion plateau.

    Vinification and aging

    - Hand-harvested grapes
    - Vinification carried out in stainless steel tanks with gentle extraction by pumping over or punching down
    - The wine is aged in barrels, which are renewed every year (1.5 years).
