Vinification and aging

The winemaking of Aile d'Argent 2020 reflects the expertise of Château Mouton Rothschild. The hand-harvested grapes are carefully selected before pressing. The must is then fermented in stainless steel tanks, preserving the freshness and purity of the aromas. L'Aile d'Argent 2020 is the confidential dry white wine of Château Mouton Rothschild. Although it bears the "simple" appellation AOC Bordeaux Blanc (because the 1855 classification in Pauillac only concerns red wines), it is treated with the same exacting standards as the Grand Vin. The 2020 vintage is considered a great success, also marking the first year under the complete direction of Jean-Emmanuel Danjoy.
