    The vines of Château Cheval Blanc flourish in a mosaic of terroirs. They are on average 40 years old and are located in contiguous plots, acquired in 1871 by Jean-Jacques Ducasse. The vineyards cover 39 hectares, and the layout has remained almost unchanged since 1871.
