Michel Reybier, who acquired the domaine In 2000, the company reinvested in infrastructure and strengthened its technical team to guarantee the exceptional quality of its wines. Its vision is to produce wines that reflect the authenticity of the terroir while remaining accessible to wine lovers worldwide.

    Vinification and aging

    Winemaking at Château Cos d'Estournel is a meticulous process that begins with hand-harvesting, ensuring rigorous grape selection. After careful destemming, the berries are placed in vats for temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation. This crucial step allows for optimal extraction of aromas and tannins. Aging takes place in oak barrels, some of which are new, for approximately 18 months, imparting complexity and a beautiful structure to the wine. Each step is carried out with particular attention, reflecting the commitment of the domaine towards excellence.
