Saint-Estèphe

The Saint-Estèphe appellation is located on a plateau overlooking the Gironde estuary. The red wines produced here are characterized by their intense color and excellent aging potential. They pair well with game or flavorful meats.

Château Calon-Ségur

Château Calon-Ségur cultivates fifty-five hectares of vines, predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon. Its flagship wine has been a Third Growth Classified since 1855. Composed of a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, it is both full-bodied and elegant. It reaches its peak five to ten years after its production.
The second wine is called Marquis de Calon . Made from younger vines, it has a very high proportion of Merlot, and is drinkable much sooner than its older sibling.
Château Calon-Ségur also owns Château Capbern , which produces a red wine from a blend of three grape varieties. This Cru Bourgeois is a fresh Saint-Estèphe with hints of black fruit followed by spice, with a clean palate and appealing tannins.

Cos d'Estournel

Château Cos d'Estournel is a renowned Bordeaux estate: on the one hand for the quality of its wines, on the other hand for the sumptuous oriental decor of its cellars.
This great wine is all about finesse, harmony, and balance. The tannins are smooth, the finish is persistent, and the aging potential is incredible. It has been a Second Growth Classified since 1855.
The second wine is called Pagodes de Cos . It is a pleasant, balanced, charming wine that reaches its peak in about ten years.
The estate produces a white wine, Cos d'Estournel Blanc , in very small quantities. It is an intense and generous wine, with aromas of white fruits and quince.
Finally, Goulée by Cos d'Estournel is a highly drinkable red wine. Delicious, fruity, and approachable, it's a pleasure to enjoy with friends.

Château Montrose

Château Montrose has belonged to Martin and Olivier Bouygues since 2006. The two brothers have undertaken enormous works to further enhance the quality of the wines produced, while respecting the site: a new winery, the installation of solar panels, the renovation of the château... Spread over 95 hectares, it is a patchwork of subsoils that gives the estate its particularity.
Château Montrose is a Second Growth Classified wine. It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Tannic and structured, it is the archetype of Saint-Estèphe; yet it also possesses the elegance and finesse characteristic of a Grand Cru Classé. Depending on the vintage, it should be aged for 10 to 15 years to fully appreciate its potential: it is an exceptional wine for cellaring.
La Dame de Montrose is the château's second wine, created in 1983. It is predominantly Merlot, with pronounced red fruit aromas. It can be enjoyed sooner than the grand vin, reaching its peak in three to five years.
The last wine is the Saint-Estèphe de Montrose , made from younger vines and produced in small quantities. It can be drunk in its early years.
