Visually, it displays a deep red color with purple highlights. The nose opens with intense aromas of black fruit, licorice, and spicy notes. The owners are committed to respecting the environment and promoting sustainable winemaking practices, ensuring that each bottle expresses the best of its terroir.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Montrose It is a meticulous process. The grapes, harvested by hand, are carefully sorted before being destemmed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature management. Aging occurs in oak barrels, a percentage of which are new, for a period of 16 to 18 months. This aging process imparts complexity and elegance to the wine, while perfectly integrating the oak notes with the fruity aromas.
