Vinification and aging

The winemaking of Comte Senard - Aloxe-Corton Premier Cru The 2024 Valozières is crafted with meticulous care. After rigorous hand-harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and then gently crushed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks, allowing for a delicate extraction of tannins and aromas. Aging in oak barrels, some of which are new, lends the wine added complexity and beautifully integrates the oak.
