The vineyard of Domaine Michel Niellon extends his expertise across the prestigious plots of Chassagne-Montrachet. THE Domaine, practicing sustainable viticulture, he carries out all the vineyard work. His vineyards comprise approximately 8 hectares, located entirely within the appellation area. With great dedication and rigor, today two generations strive year after year to make the most of their land in order to perpetuate their vineyard and develop a quality product.

Owner and history

Generations come and go, and the passion remains within the Domaine Michel Niellon, from a family of winegrowers, maintained the winemaking activity passed down from his elders and began selling bottled wine in the 1960s. Keen to pass on his knowledge and ancestral values, Michel took his son-in-law, Michel Coutoux, under his wing, then his grandson, Mathieu, who was soon joined by his granddaughter, Lucie. Together, they continued the work begun, blending modernity and tradition. They are driven by the desire to produce authentic and elegant wines that express the typicity of the appellation. Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Domaine Michel Niellon is made with a traditional and respectful approach to the grape.
A winemaking process that is more than traditional, without any artificial aids. domaine attaches particular importance to the unique characteristics of each of its terroirs and to respecting the vintage. Fine and elegant Chardonnays, fruity and light Pinot Noirs, both destined for la garde. Wines of character and expression that perfectly reflect the climates of Burgundy.
