Le vignoble de Duemani ne ressemble pas aux paysages lisses de la Toscane classique. C'est un amphithéâtre naturel situé à 250-300 mètres d'altitude, sur les contreforts qui regardent la mer Tyrrhénienne. L'influence marine : La proximité de la mer apporte une ventilation constante, essentielle pour la santé des raisins et pour donner une "salinité" naturelle aux vins. Le sol de "Galestro" : Le terrain est extrêmement pauvre, rocailleux et calcaire. C'est un sol difficile qui force la vigne à souffrir pour produire des baies de petite taille, mais incroyablement concentrées. Duemani est l'un des pionniers et des fervents défenseurs de la biodynamie en Italie (certifié Demeter). Le respect du cycle : Aucun produit chimique n'est utilisé. Le travail suit les rythmes astraux pour renforcer la vitalité du sol. Densité de plantation : Les vignes sont plantées de manière très serrée (10 000 pieds par hectare), ce qui crée une compétition entre les racines et augmente la qualité du fruit. Owner and history

Situé sur la Costa Toscana (la côte toscane), dans la zone de Riparbella, ce domaine est le projet personnel du célèbre œnologue Luca D’Attoma et d'Elena Celli. Contrairement aux domaines historiques de Montalcino ou du Chianti, Duemani est une aventure moderne, née en 2000 sur une colline vierge.

Vinification and aging

La fermentation spontanée se déroule dans des cuves coniques en chêne à température contrôlée, suivie d'une macération pelliculaire d'environ 30 jours avec de brefs remontages. L'élevage a débuté en décembre 2019 et le vin a passé 22 mois en barriques de chêne français de 225/228 litres, dont 80 % de barriques neuves et 20 % de barriques neuves. Il n'est ni collé ni filtré.
