The color of this 2020 Etna Rosso is a brilliant ruby red. On the nose, it reveals a complex bouquet of fresh red fruit, spicy notes, and subtle mineral nuances. The palate is elegant and balanced, with silky tannins and lovely freshness. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a pleasant sensation of minerality and ripe red fruit. An Italian red wine that expresses its volcanic terroir with finesse.

With Idda, we took a unique path: focusing primarily on the Carricante and rediscovering the southwest slope, often considered the opposite side of Etna. Today, the domaine owns 35 hectares of vines located between 600 and 800 meters above sea level, in the municipalities of Belpasso, Biancavilla and Tartaraci. The grape varieties grown are Carricante, Nerello Mascalese and, to a lesser extent, Nerello Cappuccio.
The color that characterizes the labels – lava red for Nerello Mascalese and Cappuccio, navy blue for Carricante – evokes terraced vineyards and the movement of a spiral, an ancestral symbol of continuity, expansion and cyclical development.
