    Owner and history

    Clos des Lambrays is one of the finest Grands Crus in the world. The name of the plot is mentioned in writings dating back to the Middle Ages. The Clos is surrounded by walls and sits on a gentle slope planted with old Pinot Noir vines.

    Vinification and aging

    - Hand-harvested grapes
    - 3-week fermentation in temperature-controlled vats with a majority of whole bunches
    - Aged in barrels (18 months, 60% of which are new).
    The wine is then aged in oak barrels, half of which are renewed each vintage.
