    Les vignes du domaine Petrolo s'étendent sur des sols argilo-calcaires, offrant un environnement propice à l'expression du Merlot. Le vignoble, cultivé avec soin, bénéficie d'un microclimat favorable, où les journées ensoleillées et les nuits fraîches permettent une maturation optimale des raisins. Chaque parcelle est soigneusement entretenue, favorisant la biodiversité et le respect de l'écosystème local. Ce terroir unique, allié à une attention méticuleuse dans les pratiques viticoles, donne naissance à des vins d'une qualité exceptionnelle.

    Owner and history

    The estate covers approximately 30 hectares, of which about ten are planted with Merlot. These vines, around thirty years old, are located in the remarkable Galatrona plot, situated between 250 and 450 meters above sea level, thus providing the grapes with precious freshness. Since 2016, these vines have been certified organic.

    Vinification and aging

    The grapes are harvested by hand when perfectly ripe. Vinification takes place using indigenous yeasts in cement vats. The wines are aged in oak barrels for 18 to 20 months.
