The 2021 Castel del Monte Pietrabianca Chardonnay boasts a brilliant straw-yellow hue. On the nose, it reveals aromas of white-fleshed fruit, citrus, and subtle floral notes. The soils are primarily limestone and clay, offering excellent drainage and water retention. Tormaresca belongs to the family Antinori, An Italian family of winemakers for over 600 years. Their passion for wine and their commitment to quality are reflected in every bottle produced by Tormaresca. The family Antinori invested heavily in Puglia, contributing to the revival of this wine-growing region and the production of internationally renowned wines.

Vinification and aging

The vinification of Castel del Monte Pietrabianca Chardonnay is carried out with the utmost care to preserve the wine's freshness and elegance. The grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Aging on fine lees adds complexity and texture to the wine. Bottling occurs after a period of maturation in the bottle.
