The Bodegas Chacra vineyard benefits from an exceptional terroir in Patagonia. The soils are composed of fluvio-glacial sediments, offering perfect drainage and a unique mineral richness. climat The climate is continental, with hot, dry summers and cold winters. Strong winds from Patagonia help keep the vines healthy and concentrate the aromas in the grapes. The vineyard's high altitude accentuates the freshness and elegance of the wines.

Owner and history

Bodegas Chacra is the fruit of Piero Incisa della Rocchetta's passion. A member of the renowned Italian family that produces Sassicaia, he fell in love with Patagonia and its unique winemaking potential, and created Bodegas Chacra with the aim of producing exceptional wines that reflect the purity and elegance of this wild terroir. His commitment to biodynamic farming and his respect for nature make Bodegas Chacra an example of sustainable and responsible viticulture.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Bodegas Chacra is carried out with the utmost care, respecting both tradition and the environment. The grapes are hand-harvested, rigorously sorted, and vinified in wooden or concrete vats. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts, thus preserving the authenticity of the terroir. Aging takes place in French oak barrels, with a varying proportion of new oak, so as not to mask the delicate aromas of the Pinot Noir. Bottling is done without filtration, to retain all the richness and complexity of the wine.

The team's opinion

A vibrant Pinot Noir, a dance of flavors that evokes the purity of Patagonian landscapes.
