Owner and history

La Marginale is made from a selection of old Cabernet Franc vines grown on clay-limestone soil. The vineyard is cultivated organically and biodynamically, allowing the characteristics of this exceptional plot to be expressed to perfection.

Vinification and aging

The grapes are harvested by hand. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in wooden vats with gentle pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation also occurs in wooden vats. The wine is aged in new oak barrels for 18 to 24 months.
