The vines, averaging 40 years old, are cultivated with meticulous care, respecting traditional viticultural practices. Sun exposure and natural soil drainage contribute to the exceptional quality of the grapes, allowing for the production of wines of great depth.

    Currently, Petrus is owned by the Moueix family, who have managed to preserve the heritage and reputation of this grand cru. Jean-François Moueix, an emblematic figure of the estate, dedicated his life to the continuous improvement of viticultural and winemaking practices. Under his leadership, Petrus has established itself as one of the most sought-after wines in the world, symbolizing excellence and passion for wine.

    Vinification and aging
